Teresa Sutherland is making her feature directorial debut with the intense psychological horror film Lovely, Dark, and Deep, premiering this February.
Lovely, Dark and Deep centers on Lennon (Georgina Campbell, Barbarian), who seizes the opportunity to assume the coveted role of a back-country ranger at a remote outpost. While adapting to her solitary existence in the wilderness, she quickly becomes aware that a sinister force is stalking her. Driven by the need for answers, Lennon embarks on a journey through the ominous terrain, seeking to unveil the mystery that has haunted her since childhood.
The cast also features Nick Blood (“Agents of S.H. I.E.L.D. “) and Wai Ching Ho (“Hustlers”). Josh Waller (Mandy, Color Out of Space) produces the film, written by Teresa Sutherland, for Woodhead Creative. Stefanie Coimbra serves as an executive producer for House of Quest Films alongside Molly C. Quinn, Matthew M. Welty, and Elan Gale, representing QWGmire.
Sutherland has repeatedly proven her talent for creating films and series with haunting atmospheres and gripping stories, like the unsettling film The Wind, proving that she has massive talent.
