Bulldog Film Distribution has now announced the chilling arrival of the horror-thriller The Moor, a British horror film that will soon terrify audiences in UK cinemas and on Digital HD.
The film follows Claire (Sophia La Porta), haunted by the childhood abduction and murder of her best friend. Twenty-five years later, the killer’s impending release reignites her fear. Enter Bill (David Edward-Robertson), the deceased boy’s father, with a desperate plan to keep the killer behind bars. Joined by the psychic Eleanor (Elizabeth Dormer-Phillips), they venture deep into the desolate Moor, rumored to be the victim’s final resting place.
Their search for answers unearths more than just restless spirits. A sinister force stirs beneath the Moor’s surface, threatening their mission and their very lives.
The Moor marks Chris Cronin‘s feature-film directorial debut. It premiered at the prestigious Pigeon Shrine FrightFest, earning Best Director and Best Film nominations. It even secured the coveted win for Best Scare at Total Film’s FrightFest Awards 2023.
Don’t miss your chance to experience The Moor‘s chilling horror when it premieres in UK cinemas on June 14th and on Digital HD on July 1st. A US release date will be announced at a later date.
