The hit superhero gone evil series “The Boys” has a killer cast, including Anthony Starr, Jack Quaid, and Karl Urban. Fans may have noticed something interesting about the cast. The series seems to be the new home of the cast of “Supernatural.” Multiple stars have joined the cast over the past two seasons. That includes Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Jim Beaver, and Nathan Mitchell as Black Noir. But the list doesn’t stop there regarding the “SPN” cast. Stars appearing in both series also include Lesley Nicol, Adrian Holmes, Isiah Adams, Kai Bradbury, Christian Keyes, and Alvaina August. Let’s not forget a very naked Rob Benedict.

Unsurprisingly, “The Boys” will also add Jensen Ackles‘ on-screen brother from “Supernatural,” Jared Padalecki (aka Sam Winchester). Eric Kripke, who served as showrunner for both series, has expressed his desire for the actor to join “The Boys” for its upcoming final season. Padalecki has openly said that he’d love to.

“The answer is yes,” he told Deadline. “We have talked [about a role]. As a matter of fact, we talked today,” he said. “I think at this point in my acting life, I only want to work on projects that I really care about or with people that I really care about, and obviously Eric and I are indelibly connected forever.”

He continued, referencing the pair’s history together: “I mean, he created Supernatural. He created Sam Winchester. He created Ruby [Genevieve Padalecki], who I ended up marrying and starting a family with.” He continued, “I adore him. I adore his humour. I adore him as a person, his storytelling. So I can’t wait. I don’t think [Season 5] films until next year, but I will be ready when he makes the phone call. I’ll just say ‘Okay, when am I flying out?’

Supernatural,” which ran for fifteen seasons, centers on two brothers who follow in their father’s footsteps as hunters, fighting evil supernatural beings of many kinds, including monsters, demons, and gods that roam the earth.

The Boys” is currently in its fourth season and has been renewed for its fifth. A group of vigilantes sets out to take down corrupt superheroes who abuse their superpowers. The series has gained a reputation for extreme violence, gore, and brutal kills, as well as things that you don’t usually see from “supes” (like a man having sex with an octopus).

Would you like to see Padalecki join “The Boys?” Would you like to see him as “supe” or a human? Let us know in the comments. Watch “The Boys” now on Amazon Prime Video and prepare for the upcoming second season of its spin-off “Gen V.”
