IO Interactive, the award-winning studio behind the Hitman series, has unveiled a new Elusive Target featuring none other than global superstar, MMA legend, and Road House star Conor McGregor.
McGregor joins Hitman World of Assassination as “The Disruptor.” The character is a millionaire MMA fighter embroiled in a feud with a prominent tech CEO. This special mission puts players in the shoes of Agent 47, tasked with eliminating “The Disruptor” before he throws a major fight. The mission is playable from June 27th to July 29th on all platforms (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch).
McGregor provided both the likeness and voiceover work for “The Disruptor,” lending an air of authenticity to the mission. In a press release, McGregor expressed his excitement about the collaboration: “The age of the Disruptor is here! I had a lot of fun creating and bringing the character to life. I can’t wait for players to try to take him down – Agent 47 is in for the fight of his life!”
Hakan Abrak, CEO of IO Interactive, shared his enthusiasm for the project: “We are beyond thrilled to bring Conor to Hitman World of Assassination. Players are really going to enjoy this new mission which blends the best of Hitman with the raw charisma and energy of one of the most successful athletes in the world.”
The mission begins on the island of Sgàil during a gathering of the Ark Society, a secretive group of the world’s elite. Players must navigate the opulent surroundings and eliminate “The Disruptor” before he disrupts the carefully planned fight.
“The Disruptor” mission is free to play for everyone, even players new to Hitman, through the Free Starter Pack. However, replays are limited to the duration of the event. Players can purchase “The Disruptor Pack” for permanent access and additional bonus content for $4.99 (€4.99/£3.99).
The Disruptor Pack Includes:

The launch of The Disruptor mission kicks off a season of Hitman content. Players can expect four new community-inspired challenges, exclusive targets, new Curated Contracts, and the Dartmoor Garden Show event). A new Twitch Drop – the Purple Streak Suitcase – is also available for watching Hitman streams on Twitch between June 27th and July 7th.
Hitman World of Assassination is now available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch. The Disruptor Pack will be available for $4.99 on all platforms starting June 27th, 2024.
