Ahead of the theatrical debut of the year’s most highly anticipated horror film, Longlegs, the final trailer, “The End,” has arrived. The trailer teases the horrors that await in Osgood Perkins‘ film and that your nights of peaceful sleep may be over.

Perkins, the mastermind behind The Blackcoat’s Daughter, is known for his ability to weave a web of psychological dread. And judging by the trailer, Longlegs promises to be no exception.

The story follows FBI rookie Agent Lee Harker (Maika Monroe, It Follows, Watcher). Harker is in a race against time to save a victim from a terrifying killer. As Harker digs deeper into the case, she uncovers a horrifying truth—a connection to the killer’s twisted game that runs far deeper than she ever imagined.

The trailer delivers a masterclass in building suspense. It’s filled with emotionally unsettling visuals and a haunting soundscape that will leave you on the edge of your seat. We see glimpses of Harker’s relentless pursuit, the cryptic clues left behind by the killer, and the ever-present threat lurking in the shadows. Monroe delivers a captivating performance, perfectly capturing the desperation and terror of her character.

Monroe is joined by a talented cast, including Nicolas Cage (Arcadian), Blair Underwood (“Quantico”), and Alicia Witt (The Haunting).

Longlegs slithers into theaters on July 12th, 2024. Buckle up for a nightmarish journey that will stay with you long after the credits roll. Get your tickets now.
