The Mandela Effect. Maybe you’ve experienced it, but if not, there’s a good chance you’ve at least heard of it by now. Named after Nelson Mandela, and the fact that many people remember his past differently, claiming he died in prison and was never released. The name has now been applied to several instances throughout history, some big, some small, and nobody seems to know what the heck is going on.

Except for maybe Robert Kiviat, the brain behind the new documentary, THE MANDELA EFFECT PHENOMENON. We recently had the chance to chat with Robert, and while he will be the first to admit that he doesn’t have all of the answers, he does have an interesting theory, and some really convincing insight into this strange, undeniable phenomena.

Horror Fuel: Hi Robert! Before we get into it here, I have to ask – Do you believe in the Mandela Effect, and is it something you have experienced?

Robert Kiviat: Absolutely. In any of the shows I have worked on throughout the years, whether it was the Fox Network ‘s Alien Autopsy: Fact or Fiction, UFO’S: The Best Evidence Ever Caught on Tape, Prophecies of the Millennium, I believe in these mysteries being provable, and having evidence before I would ever make a documentary or a prime time TV special. To me, I have to believe not only that the mystery is real, but that there’s proof that you could bring into a court room, or make into a very compelling article for a prestigious magazine. There needs to be that kind of diligence in journalism to look at these things.

So, I believed right away that the Mandela Effect had proof, because when I started studying it, I noticed one (instance) jumped right out at me. The spelling of JCPenney, the store. I used to go to the store in New York, all the time, in a shopping mall called Roosevelt Field in Long Island. JCPenney was positioned right near the bus stop.

For years, I’m telling you, JCPenney, in my world, in my timeline, where I come from, JCPenney did not have an “ey” at the end. There are actual newspaper ads that you can see, from back in the day, talking about “JCPenny.” No e, just a y. That was one that I realized right away. I didn’t need to see newspaper articles from the past. I knew.

Everything you see in this movie was done through research, cross checking, getting evidence, and trying to present it to a courtroom jury, kind of thing.

So, not just hearsay? This is something substantial?

Nothing hearsay is in it. There has to be some legitimate proof that you could enter into a courtroom, with almost any example of the Mandela Effect we talked about in the movie.

I’ve found this to be fascinating for years. The Berenstain Bears got me. It was Berenstein Bears, and I will die on that hill.

And our movie shows everyone that TV Guide agrees with you! We found the TV Guide that said “The Berenstein Bears.” What kind of name is Berenstain, anyways?

It doesn’t even make sense. (Laughing.)

It doesn’t. (Laughing.)

Okay… Shazam. Sinbad.

I’m so glad you brought that up. Sinbad has denied it, but – many people, including me, remember a movie where Sinbad played a genie. It was such a big Mandela Effect, that the guy who played in the movie Shazam that played recently, he’s adamant that he saw the movie! It even got to the point where an actual college troop that does memes and other things, they asked Sinbad before he got a little ill, I think, to actually play the part, and show people what it would have looked like. That’s not the proof, though. They recreated it.

I remember the cover of the movie. Sinbad with those big hoop earrings, arms crossed.

Me, too.

I don’t want to give everything in the documentary away, but I have to ask. What do you think is going on?

I think it’s the CERN particle collider, and the plans they have to search for other dimensions. That’s their goal, to cause a blackhole maybe to happen by pounding particles together, and try to recreate the big bang in many ways. Stephen Hawking was so worried about this before he died, he implored the scientists to not do it.

Why would Stephen Hawking, one of the brightest geniuses on our planet, warn our world not to crash particles into each other at highspeed. We don’t know what it’s going to cause. The scientists at CERN are saying they want to create portals, they want to grab pieces of another dimension, and bring it here. It’s obvious, the evidence is there. They want to change reality.

You know what? When people say something, you might want to believe them. That’s kind of my feeling. Then there’s that crazy scene of that tunnel celebration right near CERN, you’ll see it in our movie, where dignitaries are having this huge parade of people doing strange, weirdly demonic kind of behavior, then they point to a big screen where the story of CERN is played out, where they’re going to change time, and affect the world. It’s really weird, and the world leaders were there that day. Why were they there? What was going on?

We’ll probably never know, but it sounds like they accomplished exactly what they were trying to do, so…

We see effects that look like they succeeded.

This is all so fascinating.
