Get ready for a hilarious and action-packed take on the zombie apocalypse! We Are Zombies, a new SCREAMBOX Original horror-comedy, bares its teeth this August.
This isn’t your typical zombie flick. In the movie, the undead are known as the “living-impaired.” Forget flesh-eating hordes. These non-cannibalistic creatures just want to live out their best undead lives. The movie centers on three slackers who find themselves in a sticky situation when their grandma gets kidnapped. This leads to an insane, blood-drenched, hilarious sequence of events.
We Are Zombies stars Alexandre Nachi, Derek Johns, Megan Peta Hill, and a talented supporting cast. Already praised for its blend of humor and gore, this fun flick is directed by the filmmaking collective RKSS, known for Turbo Kid and Summer of ’84. The movie is based on the popular comic The Zombies That Ate the World, written by Jerry Frissen and illustrated by Guy Davis.
“It is finally time we unleash We Are Zombies!” exclaims RKSS. “We are thrilled, as horror fans and genre filmmakers, to be partnering up with the good folks at Bloody Disgusting and their streaming platform Screambox to bring it to your screens.”
Prepare to scream with laughter (and maybe a little fear) when We Are Zombies premieres on SCREAMBOX on August 13th! The streaming service is available on Apple TV, Prime Video, Roku, Fire TV, YouTube, Samsung, Comcast, Cox, and Screambox.com.
