Acclaimed director Alexandre Aja, the filmmaker behind The Hills Have Eyes and Crawl, and the minds behind “Stranger Things” have teamed up for Lionsgate’s upcoming horror film Never Let Go, starring Academy Award®-winner Halle Berry (Monster’s Ball, Gothica).

A new clip has been released, teasing us that something dark and dangerous lurks in the woods. We see Berry looking out toward the forest, terrified.

In the film, as evil takes over the world beyond their front doorstep, the only protection for a mother (Berry) and her two sons is their home, their family’s bond, and a chant echoed in the new trailer. Needing to stay connected, they tether themselves to their home with ropes and cling to one another, urging each other to never let go.

The movie boasts a team of exceptional storytellers. The script is from KC Coughlin and Ryan Grassby, who have worked on projects like “Stranger Things.” Berry executive produces it with industry veterans like Shawn Levy (Arrival, Free Guy).

The cast includes Anthony B. Jenkins, Matthew Kevin Anderson, Percy Daggs IV, Christin Park, and Stephanie Lavigne.

Never Let Go is a must-see for fans of suspenseful horror. It opens in theaters on September 20, 2024, from Lionsgate.
