This Fall, Six Flags Fright Fest will bring iconic horror franchises to life to delight every horror fanatic and Halloween fiend, including “Stranger Things.

Guests are invited to journey to Hawkins and enter the “Stranger Things” world, where students have created a Haunted House for the community. Although just a little innocent, Halloween fun soon gets turned upside down! What starts as a fun school haunt with homemade decorations quickly becomes a deadly labyrinth of thrills and scares. Rifts sweep guests into a disorienting journey of terrifying locations while being hunted by the supernatural monsters. Guests will navigate the world of the Netflix smash hit. They will come face to face with demogorgons, demodogs, demobats, the “Mind Flayer,” and finally, Vecna himself!

During this year’s Fright Fest, guests will also be transported into the eerie realms of Netflix’s Army of the Dead, Warner Bros./New Line’s Conjuring Universe, Legendary Entertainment’s Trick ‘r Treat, Lionsgate, and Twisted Pictures’ SAW‘ and an experience centering around Legendary and the Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

“If you are going to create immersive experiences for Halloween around top horror Hollywood franchises, ‘Stranger Things’ has to be high on your wish list and we understand the awesome responsibility that comes with it! My team and I are huge fans of the series so we’ve gone to great lengths to ensure our guests will be both delighted and absolutely terrified as they navigate Hawkins High and beyond.” – Edithann “EA” Ramey – Six Flags Chief Fright Officer

“Our goal was to bring this series to life like never before as guests are invited to step into Hawkins High School for a nostalgic and ominous upside-down experience. We’ve tried to capture the 80’s teen spirit that has become synonymous with the show, while leaning into the wild and wonderful brand of horror that fans have come to expect.” – Kaya Rose, Creative Lead, RWS Global.

The “Stranger Things” maze is now open at Six Flags Magic Mountain, Six Flags Over Texas, Six Flags Fiesta Texas, and Six Flags Over Georgia before coming to Six Flags Great America and Six Flags Great Adventure later this month. Check your local Six Flags listings for more information and tickets.
