There’s another treat heading your way this Halloween. Hulu has just unleashed the trailer for the horror movie Carved, which sees a pumpkin out to raise a little hell and get some revenge.
On a fateful Halloween night, a heartbroken teenage playwright, her younger brother, and a diverse group of survivors are trapped within a historical reenactment village. The group’s night turns terrifying when a sentient and vengeful pumpkin emerges, determined to eliminate them all. Forced to band together, they must overcome their differences and face the horrifying creature head-on.
Peyton Elizabeth Lee, Corey Fogelmanis, Wyatt Lindner, Carla Jimenez, and Sasha Mason star. Jonah Lees, DJ Qualls, Marc-Sully Saint-Fleur, Elvis Nolasco, Matty Cardarople, Jackson Kelly, and Chris Elliott round out the cast.
This pumpkin-themed horror comedy is directed by Justin Harding and co-written by Cheryl Mayer. It is based on Harding’s short film featured at Huluween’s Film Fest.
The movie is part of WorthenBrooks’ first-look horror slate with Hulu Originals. David Brooks, Debbie Liebling, Arbi Pedrossian, and Jenna Cavelle are producers. Miles Alva is an executive producer. Lorne Raimi, Alex Hansen, and Nick Page are co-producing.
