Black Cab, a new supernatural horror movie, is heading your way, with Nick Frost starring as a demented ride-share driver who turns a couple’s night into terror.
Directed by Bruce Goodison (Murdered By My Father), the story follows Anne (Synnøve Karlsen) and Patrick (Luke Norris), who hail a black cab after a night out. Their driver (Nick Frost) is chatty, but they are in no mood to talk. In fact, the couple is barely on speaking terms. That is until they realize the driver has no intention of taking them home. Locked in the cab with no means of escape, the driver transports the couple to a deserted, supposedly haunted road. And things take a turn for the worse.
Nick Frost, best known for his roles in films like Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, brings his dramatic talents to Black Cab to play a darker, more twisted character than his usual roles. He even contributed to the screenplay, which David Michael Emerson and Virginia Gilbert originally penned.
Start your engines and prepare for a fright-filled ride. The movie Black Cab pulls onto Shudder on November 8.
