From Blumhouse and writer-director Leigh Whannell (The Invisible Man) comes a new twist on the classic Universal monster, the Wolf Man. The first trailer has just arrived, teasing a dark, chilling film that asks, “What if someone you loved became something else?”
Golden Globe nominee Christopher Abbott (Poor Things) stars as a husband and father. He inherits his remote childhood home after his father vanishes. With his marriage to his wife (Emmy winner Julia Garner (Ozark) fraying, Blake persuades Charlotte to take a break from the city and visit the property with their daughter, Ginger (Matlida Firth; Hullraisers).
But as the family approaches the farmhouse in the dead of night, they’re attacked by an unseen animal. Desperate, they barricade themselves inside the home as the creature stalks the perimeter. However, as the night stretches on, Blake begins to behave strangely, transforming into something unrecognizable. Charlotte will be forced to decide whether the terror within their house is more lethal than the danger without.
The film co-stars Sam Jaeger (The Handmaid’s Tale), Ben Prendergast, Benedict Hardie (The Invisible Man), and Milo Cawthorne (Shortland Street).
