As a treat this Halloween, Neon has unveiled two new haunting posters for filmmaker Steven Soderbergh’s (Sex, Lies, and Videotape) chilling new horror movie, Presence. The first poster features a blurred silhouette of a woman. The second, which looks like a photo negative, features the house and the family at the heart of this edge-of-your-seat film.

Presence follows a family who moves into a new, beautiful suburban home and soon becomes convinced they are not alone when a mysterious entity begins to stalk them, turning their new home into a terrifying nightmare.

David Koepp, the man behind Jurassic Park, wrote and executive produced Presence. The cast includes talented stars Lucy Liu, Julia Fox, Chris Sullivan, Callina Liang, and Lucus Papaelias.

Presence has already garnered critical acclaim, earning a perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes during its festival run. But we will warn you that several of its stars have stated the film deeply impacted them. Some viewers at film festivals could not handle the stress and had to leave, calling the film “intense” and “terrifying.”

Prepare for a haunting experience this winter. The movie Presence premieres in theaters on January 17th from Neon.
