Legion M’s upcoming horror-comedy, Fade to Black, has added a talented cast to its already impressive lineup. The film, marking the feature debut of director Andrew Sandler, follows a struggling screenwriter who takes drastic measures to achieve success.
Betty Gabriel, Thomas Barbusca, and Scott Evans join the cast alongside Karan Soni (Deadpool). The film also features Max Carver, Katerina Tanenbaum, John Carroll Lynch, Joseph Lee, and Zosia Mamet in supporting roles.
Fade to Black follows Amit as he navigates the horrors of trying to break into the twisted business of Hollywood. After an accidental death spurs a sinister epiphany, the screenwriter starts committing the murders of his script’s fictional serial killer in an attempt to generate the buzz necessary to get his movie made. The film promises a darkly comedic exploration of ambition, madness, and the brutal reality of the entertainment industry.
The film’s creative team includes cinematographer Bryce Fortner, production designer Brandon Mendez, and costume designer Margaret Robbs. Nathan Orloff and Justin Yates edit. Paul Scanlan and David Baxter produce under the Legion M. banner. Brent Craft under the Craftsmen Media Co. banner and Andrew Carlberg.
