Neon has unveiled the haunting final trailer for filmmaker Steven Soderbergh’s (Sex, Lies, and Videotape) chilling new horror movie, Presence. The trailer gives us a glimpse into the terrors plaguing a family as an entity turns their lives upside down.
Presence follows a family who moves into a new, beautiful suburban home. Soon, they become convinced they are not alone. A mysterious entity begins to stalk them, toy with them, and turn their new dream home into a terrifying nightmare.
David Koepp, the man behind Jurassic Park, wrote and executive produced Presence. The cast features a talented cast that includes Lucy Liu (Kill Bill), Julia Fox (Uncut Gems), Chris Sullivan (“This is Us”), Callina Liang (“Foundation”), and Lucus Papaelias.
Presence has already garnered critical acclaim, earning a perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes during its festival run. But we will warn you that several of its stars have stated that the film deeply impacted them. The film also affected some viewers at film festivals who could not handle the stress and had to leave, calling it “intense” and “terrifying.”
Prepare for a haunting experience this winter when the film premieres in theaters on January 17th from Neon. Watch the new Presence trailer below.
