Golden Globe nominee Christopher Abbott (Poor Things) stars as a man who inherits his childhood home after his father vanishes. With his marriage to his wife (Emmy winner Julia Garner (Ozark) fraying, Blake persuades Charlotte to take a break from the city and visit the property with their daughter (Matlida Firth; Hullraisers).
However, a beast attacks as they approach the farmhouse in the dead of night. Desperate, they barricade themselves inside the home as the creature stalks the perimeter. As the night continues, Blake behaves strangely, transforming into something unrecognizable.
The film co-stars Sam Jaeger (“The Handmaid’s Tale”), Ben Prendergast, Benedict Hardie (The Invisible Man), and Milo Cawthorne (Shortland Street).
Blumhouse founder and CEO Jason Blum produces alongside Ryan Gosling (The Fall Guy, Lost River). Leigh Whannell, Beatriz Sequeira, Mel Turner, and Ken Kao executive produce the film. Universal Pictures and Blumhouse present a Gosling/Waypoint Entertainment production in association with Cloak & Co.
