Calling all fans of the Tahoe Joe franchise! FOUND TV is bringing you a special treat: Tahoe Joe: The Ultimate Cut. This ultimate director’s cut premieres exclusively on the streaming service dedicated to all things found footage this February. Filmmakers Dillon Brown and Michael Rock meticulously crafted the cut. It combines the original 2020 film with its sequel, Tahoe Joe 2, making it into a cohesive viewing experience.

“We have taken both films, shortened each a tad, and cut them together to tell one long story. Because the sequel has a twist that reframes how you watch the first film, it’s a much more fun experience to see both films back to back. Now you can witness the story in one ultimate cut.” Dillion has stated.

For those unfamiliar with the franchise, Tahoe Joe saw filmmaker Dillon Brown set out with wilderness survival expert Michael Rock to document an attempt to find a missing person. What they found instead was a horror thought to be a myth. In the sequel, Tahoe Joe 2: The Sierra Nevada Bigfoot Conspiracy, a social media influencer disappears in Tahoe National Forest. The filmmakers attempt a rescue mission but encounter a dangerous situation in Tahoe Joe’s hunting grounds.

The Tahoe Joe news doesn’t stop at the new cut. Dillion has confessed that another sequel is in the works.

“We are actively in development on Tahoe Joe 3 right now! It’s titled Tahoe Joe 3: Concrete Wilderness, and this time, we are having fun with a The Lost World situation and bringing Joe into the suburbs. I’m very excited to finish out the trilogy and give it a proper ending.”
