Josh Stewart, best known for his role in The Collector, will next play the chilling role of a suicide hotline operator in the suspenseful new psychological horror film Lifeline.
The film plunges viewers into a heart-pounding race against time as Stewart’s character receives a disturbing call from someone claiming to be himself. The caller possesses intimate knowledge of the operator’s life, details that only he could know, amplifying the unsettling nature of the interaction. The caller then issues a chilling threat: he will end his life within the hour.
This ominous ultimatum forces the operator into a desperate struggle. As the clock ticks down, he must confront his deepest fears and unravel the mystery surrounding the caller’s identity. Is it all a cruel prank? A manifestation of his internal struggles? Or something far more sinister? He must uncover the truth before it’s too late to save “himself,” or perhaps, something far more precious.
Lifeline features a talented supporting cast, including Judah Lewis (The Babysitter), Craig Stark (The Hateful Eight), and Charlene Amoia (The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It). Luke Benward (Dumplin’), August Maturo (The Nun), and Brecken Merrill (“Yellowstone”) round out the cast.
Feras Alfuqaha makes his directorial debut with Lifeline, penned by Brady Morell and Brian Price. Leal Naim (“The Endless”) serves as producer.
Lifeline promises to be a tense and thought-provoking thriller. It explores themes of identity, fear, and the desperate struggle to connect in a world that often feels isolating. Lifeline will premiere in select theaters and arrive on Digital on February 21 from Dark Sky Films.
