The anticipation for “Stranger Things” season 5 is reaching a fever pitch. Netflix has just dropped a cryptic clue that has fans buzzing. A “missing” poster for Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) has surfaced, raising more questions than answers.

Netflix shared the poster on Twitter with the caption, “Who’s really looking for Jane Hopper?” It features a picture of Eleven. The poster states that Eleven (whose adoptive name is Jane Hopper) was last seen on Friday, June 13, 1986, “walking on the sidewalk near Hawkins High School, where she mysteriously disappeared.”

This information raises some intriguing possibilities for the upcoming season set in the fall of 1987. The missing poster, placing Eleven’s disappearance in June 1986, strongly suggests that she will be absent, at least initially, in the new season. The question is: where is she?

While the most recent season ended with Eleven reuniting with her friends in Hawkins, several scenarios could explain her disappearance. Could Jim Hopper be hiding her once again for her own safety? Or has she truly gone missing? Perhaps even taken back to the Upside Down?

Fans have discovered that calling the number on the poster leads to a voicemail message from the Hawkins Police Department. The message warns of a lockdown following an earthquake. It also urges anyone with information about Eleven’s disappearance to contact the police.

Stranger Things” season 5 will mark the final chapter of the beloved series. Fans will see the return of familiar faces like Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin Henderson), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas Sinclair), Noah Schnapp (Will Byers), and more. After nine years, the epic saga is coming to a close.

While an official release date for “Stranger Things” season 5 has yet to be announced, it is expected sometime this year. In the meantime, now would be a great time to watch or re-watch the previous seasons.
