Unholy Song, a new supernatural horror film, presents a chillingly modern twist on one of the most significant exorcisms in history: the Miracle of the Gerasene Swine, as recounted in the New Testament in Matthew 8:28-34 (see below). This reimagining transports the ancient miracle to present-day Northern California, where a landlord’s obsession leads to terrifying consequences.
The story centers around a landlord fixated on demonic spirits trapped within an unlikely vessel: an audio cassette player. His efforts to control the supernatural forces backfire spectacularly when his tenants inadvertently unleash the evil entities. The tenants must rely on their resourcefulness and knowledge of Father Bernard to combat the demonic presence. Their only hope lies in replicating the original miracle, casting the demons out, and reimprisoning them under the ancient spell.
Unholy Song promises a suspenseful and terrifying exploration of faith, obsession, and the enduring power of ancient evil in a contemporary setting. The film’s premise suggests a unique take on the classic exorcism narrative, blending modern anxieties with timeless supernatural horror.
Directed by Arthur G. Night and starring Jessica Chaves, Chris Orozco, Sean Gestl, Quint Gabriel, Unholy Song.
This chilling supernatural tale opens in USA theatres starting February 28. It joins multiple religious horror films coming this year, including The Ritual, starring Al Pacino, and 100 Candles Game: The Last Possession.

Mathew 28-34
Matthew 28 When he arrived at the other side in the region of the Gadarenes,[a] two demon-possessed men coming from the tombs met him. They were so violent that no one could pass that way. 29 “What do you want with us, Son of God?” they shouted. “Have you come here to torture us before the appointed time?”
30 Some distance from them, a large herd of pigs was feeding. 31 The demons begged Jesus, “If you drive us out, send us into the herd of pigs.”
32 He said to them, “Go!” So they came out and went into the pigs, and the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and died in the water. 33 Those tending the pigs ran off, went into the town, and reported all this, including what had happened to the demon-possessed men. 34 Then the whole town went out to meet Jesus. And when they saw him, they pleaded with him to leave their region.
