Terror Films Releasing has partnered with writer-director Douglas A. Plomitallo to bring his anthology horror film, Halloween Candy, a tasty treat, to audiences.
Starring Molly Gazay, Amber Rothberg, Sara Lynn, Nathaniel Lee, and Analisa Robertson, the film offers a unique take on the Halloween season. It follows a recently divorced writer seeking inspiration from trick-or-treaters. One unexpected visitor makes this Halloween an unforgettable night.
Plomitallo shared his inspiration behind Halloween Candy: “I wrote and directed ‘Halloween Candy’ because of my love and passion for the Halloween season. Since childhood, this season has meant a great deal to my family and me. I wanted to capture the elements that made it so special and share them on screen.”
He continued, “The film is an anthology of several stories. This allowed me to incorporate many elements from different aspects of Halloween lore. We filmed it in the middle of a hot August. But for everyone on set, it was October 31st. We paid close attention to detail. We wanted to capture the essence and vibe that make Halloween so special. I hope the film becomes yearly viewing for some. I hope it helps get them in the spirit of our favorite season.”
Halloween Candy is available exclusively on Amazon Prime Video for rent or purchase.
