Chad Archibald‘s new flick, It Feeds, is about to drop, and the trailer and poster are here to give you a taste of the terrifying ride ahead. This seriously creepy story will hit theaters across Canada and the US this April. If you’re a homebody, don’t worry—it’ll be on Blu-ray this fall.
This movie has a solid lineup, too. Ashley Greene, whom you know from The Twilight Saga, plays a clairvoyant therapist about to face serious personal demons. Shawn Ashmore, from the X-Men movies, plays the distraught dad trying to protect his kid. Ellie O’Brien (My Life With The Walter Boys), Shayelin Martin (Wild Goat Surf), Julian Richings (Beau is Afraid), Juno Rinaldi (Workin’ Moms), and Mark Taylor (Cinderella Man) round out the cast.
The story? It’s a doozy. A young girl claims a malevolent entity is feeding on her, and it’s up to Greene’s character to figure out how to stop it before it is too late. Ashmore’s character, the dad, is basically in full-on protective mode, trying to keep his daughter safe from whatever’s lurking in the shadows.
“It was a dream making this nightmare,” says Chad Archibald, the writer and director. “It’s a film full of the things that terrify me the most and I think that will resonate with audiences when it hits theatres this April.”
Archibald also produced the film alongside Cody Calahan and Evan Ottoni for Black Fawn Films and William G. Santor, Doug Murray, and Morris Chapdelaine for Productivity Media Inc (PMI). It Feeds is a Black Fawn Films production financed by Productivity Media. MPX Films handles world sales.
If you’re looking for a creepy, mind-bending horror flick, It Feeds is one to watch. Luckily, you don’t have to wait long. The movie arrives in select US theaters and on VOD on April 18th and May 12th in the UK and Ireland.
