Shudder, the ultimate streaming destination for all things horror, thriller, and supernatural, has just announced that they’ve acquired PUSH, the latest chilling flick from David Charbonier and Justin Powell, the duo behind the acclaimed indie thrillers The Boy Behind the Door and Djinn.
PUSH is already generating buzz, having premiered at the 2024 Sitges Film Festival and set to make its U.S. debut at the Cinequest Film Festival in San Jose this weekend. And the best part? You’ll be able to catch it exclusively on Shudder later this year.

The film centers on Natalie Flores, played by Alicia Sanz, a pregnant realtor who finds herself in a terrifying situation during an open house. She’s attacked by a sadistic killer, portrayed by Raúl Castillo. This traumatic event sent her into premature labor. Now, she’s not just fighting for her life; she’s also racing against a physiological ticking clock, desperately trying to escape before she gives birth.
This isn’t your typical home invasion thriller. The added element of Natalie’s impending labor creates a heightened sense of urgency and vulnerability, promising a genuinely intense and suspenseful viewing experience.
Charbonier and Powell wrote and directed PUSH. Ryan Scaringe produced the film, with Amy Lippens, Jilbert Daniel, Del Charbonier, Sanz, and Castillo serving as executive producers.
