Brainstorm Media has unveiled the official trailer for Psycho Therapy, a film that promises to blend humor and suspense. Golden Globe nominee Steve Buscemi takes center stage.
The film’s full title is a mouthful: Psycho Therapy: The Shallow Tale of a Writer Who Decided to Write about a Serial Killer. It was written, directed, and produced by Tolga Karaçelik.
The trailer for Psycho Therapy introduces Buscemi as a retired serial killer. However, things become unhinged when he becomes the muse and consultant for a struggling writer who desperately seeks inspiration for his next novel.
The film features a talented ensemble cast alongside Buscemi. It includes Sydney Cole Alexander, Ward Horton, Olli Haaskivi, Jacob Ming-Trent, and Anthony Michael Lopez.
The official synopsis reads, “A writer befriends a retired serial killer in a desperate attempt to find inspiration for his next novel and save his marriage. Covering as his marriage counselor, the killer teaches him his methods as reality becomes deadlier than fiction,”
Scott Aharoni, Wren Arthur, Sinan Eczacibasi, Mustafa Kaymak, Alex Peace, and Metin Alihan Yalcindag serve as producers. Natalie Kingston and Evren Lus handled the cinematography and editing, respectively. This collaborative effort brought Karaçelik’s vision to life.
Psycho Therapy offers a fresh perspective on the psychological thriller genre. It blends elements of dark comedy, suspense, and character study.
