Are you ready for a spine-tingling journey into the unknown? “Ghost Adventures” is returning with an all-new season, promising to deliver chilling encounters and groundbreaking investigations.
Renowned paranormal investigators Zak Bagans, Aaron Goodwin, Billy Tolley, and Jay Wasley are back to explore the darkest corners of the supernatural.
This season takes the team to iconic haunted locations shrouded in paranormal legends. They will delve into frightening accounts of ghostly activity. The crew’s mission to document the afterlife leads them to the first-ever paranormal investigation of the legendary Poltergeist House in Simi Valley, CA. They will also conduct a historic séance at the Winchester Mystery House. This séance will attempt to summon the spirit of Harry Houdini, alongside his only known blood relative, on the 100th anniversary of his visit.
The team will conduct immersive lockdown investigations at each site using the latest scientific gadgets and technology. They aim to capture physical evidence of the paranormal and gain a deeper understanding of these supernatural mysteries.
The special two-hour season premiere, “Poltergeist House Curse,” will see Bagans and the crew delve into the mystery of the famed Poltergeist House. They will launch an unprecedented investigation inside the location of the classic horror film. They aim to uncover the truth behind a rumored curse. Did real-life events converge with “Poltergeist’s” fictional storyline to unlock a lethal, ancient darkness? After the team’s lockdown leaves them with more questions than answers, Bagans believes a terrifying relic from the 1982 film could provide insight into the sinister energy that haunts the suburban California home.
“The investigations this season are iconic, highly charged, and very personal,” said Bagans. “These locations have a dark energy rooted in their deep history – including a place I’ve always dreamed of exploring: the Poltergeist House. Incorporating special guest investigators and new investigative tactics stirred up a frenzy of compelling paranormal activity that we can’t wait to share – including mind-blowing photographic evidence, unlike anything we’ve captured before.”
The team will investigate the infamously haunted Glen Tavern Inn. A special guest, musician, and Korn frontman, Jonathan Davis, will join them throughout the season. They will explore reported hauntings of a legendary bootlegger at a shuttered casino with comedian and paranormal aficionado Matt Rife. They will also tackle a chilling new investigation inside Zak Bagans’ Haunted Museum. A newly acquired artifact from America’s most prolific serial killer is wreaking havoc throughout the mansion.
The news of the new season comes just a week after we reported the chilling news that Goodwin’s wife, Victoria, had been arrested for plotting to have him murdered. He has since filed for divorce.
The new season premieres with a special two-hour episode on Wednesday, April 16th, at 10 PM ET/PT on Discovery Channel. The following day, the episodes will stream on Max and Discovery+.
