Prepare for a gruesome and fiery return to the franchise that redefined death! The official poster for Final Destination: Bloodlines has just arrived. It reveals a chaotic inferno of impending doom, perfectly setting the stage for the series’ signature brand of over-the-top demises. It promises a blood-soaked thrill ride, offering insane new deaths that have become the franchise’s horrifying hallmark.

Death’s Design

But Final Destination: Bloodlines isn’t just about the creative carnage. The trailer takes viewers on a journey back through time. It also hints at answers to questions that have haunted fans for decades: How did Death’s twisted game begin? And what fate truly awaits the survivors who cheat their initial premonition? The film promises to return to the franchise’s core elements and “take audiences back to the very beginning.” It will further explore the series’ terrifying mythology. This newest chapter in New Line Cinema’s bloody franchise is poised to drag audiences back to the genesis of Death’s grim sense of justice.

The narrative centers on Stefanie, a college student whose life is plagued by a violent and recurring nightmare. Desperate to break the terrifying cycle that seems to be closing in on her and her family, she embarks on a journey home to seek out the one person who might hold the key to understanding and potentially escaping their grisly fate—her grandmother, Iris.

A Talented Team in Front of and Behind the Camera

Final Destination: Bloodlines boasts a talented ensemble cast, including Kaitlyn Santa Juana (The Friendship Game), Teo Briones (Chucky), Richard Harmon (The 100), and Owen Patrick Joyner (Julie and the Phantoms).  Anna Lore (“They/Them”) joins the cast alongside Brec Bassinger (Stargirl) and the iconic Tony Todd in his final role.

The film is helmed by the directing duo of Adam Stein (Freaks) and Zach Lipovsky (Freaks), promising a fresh and potentially innovative take on the franchise’s established formula. The screenplay is crafted by the writing team of Guy Busick (Scream) and Lori Evans Taylor (Cellar Door). The story was conceived by Jon Watts, alongside Busick and Taylor. The film is based on the unforgettable characters initially created by Jeffrey Reddick, the mastermind behind the Final Destination phenomenon.

Final Destination: Bloodlines is brought to the screen by a seasoned team of producers, including franchise veterans Craig Perry (the driving force behind the “Final Destination” and “American Pie” franchises) and Sheila Hanahan Taylor, alongside Jon Watts (“Atlanta,” “Cop Car”) and Toby Emmerich (“The Flash,” “The Butterfly Effect”). The executive producers are David Siegel and Warren Zide. New Line Cinema proudly presents Bloodlines, a Practical Pictures, Freshman Year, and Fireside Films production.
