Horror fans, prepare for a cinematic resurrection! A “lost” gem from the legendary Full Moon Features is clawing its way back into the light. And the best part is that it stars horror icon Tony Todd! This gory, sci-fi-fueled horror/thriller, aptly titled Cutter’s Club, comes to us from the prolific and imaginative director Charles Band. The slick 35mm cinematography by the late, great Mac Ahlberg (Re-Animator) adds a touch of cinematic artistry.

The “Lost” Film

Filmed in 2005, Cutter’s Club plunges us into a world of macabre medical madness. It follows a pair of bright but perhaps overly curious young student doctors, played by Melissa Searing and Davee Youngblood. Their academic pursuits turn dark and dangerous when they stumble upon a secret society. This clandestine group, known only as the “Cutter’s Club,” is comprised of surgery fetishists and deranged monster makers.

Imagine a world where surgical experimentation transcends the boundaries of healing and delves into the grotesque and the monstrous. That’s the terrifying playground of the Cutter’s Club. The young protagonists get pulled into this shadowy organization. They’ll witness its members’ horrifying creations and ethically bankrupt practices firsthand. So, expect a blend of creatures born from surgical nightmares, copious amounts of carnage, utter mayhem, and truly macabre malpractice. This isn’t your typical hospital drama, folks; this is a descent into a fevered world of surgical obsession and monstrous invention.

What makes this release particularly noteworthy is its “lost” status. For reasons unknown, Cutter’s Club never saw its intended release twenty years ago. It languished in the vaults of cinematic history. Now, Full Moon Features is bringing it back from the brink of oblivion, giving this maniacal movie its rightful place in the horror pantheon. For fans of Tony Todd, this promises to be a fevered cinematic swan song.

Cast and Crew

A talented ensemble rounds out the cast of Cutter’s Club. Melissa Searing joins Todd. They are joined by Jemal McNeil, David Sean Robinson, Raelyn Hennessee, and Jon Simanton. With Charles Band at the directorial helm, known for his unique brand of low-budget but high-concept horror, Cutter’s Club promises to be a visually striking and utterly bonkers ride.

Watch It Now

So, if you’re craving a dose of classic Full Moon weirdness, a healthy helping of gore, a dash of mad science, and the commanding presence of Tony Todd, keep your eyes peeled for the resurrected Cutter’s Club. It sounds like a gloriously unhinged cinematic experience finally ready to unleash its creatures, carnage, and macabre malpractice upon the world.

Get ready to witness a secret society where the only rule is that there are no rules, and the human body is just the starting point for their terrifying experiments. This unforgettable monster movie is now streaming free on Tubi. You can watch Todd’s final performance in Final Destination: Bloodlines, in theaters May 16.
