Imagine stepping into a real horror movie. On May 22, a group of theater goers got their popcorn and took their seats to watch Final Destination: Bloodline in La Plata, Argentina. What started as a fun night suddenly became a terrifying experience.

In a strange case where life nearly imitated art, the crowd heard what they thought were terrific sound effects. Unfortunately, they had no idea they were in for a real scare in a twist right out of the movies.

According to the Daily Mail, Flamma Villaverde was celebrating her birthday with her eleven-year-old daughter and a friend in the theater when a large portion of the ceiling fell as the movie neared its end.

There was a really loud noise. At first, we thought it was part of the movie because we were so absorbed; but then a huge piece fell on me,” Villaverde told Infobae. “I went because it was my birthday and look what happened to me.

The 29-year-old mother was only hit in the knee, thanks to being leaning over an armrest when it fell. She was evaluated at a nearby hospital for her injuries. It must have been a terrifying experience; she was watching Final Destination after all.

You can now watch Final Destination: Bloodlines in theaters now…if you dare.
