Get ready for more brains, punks, and glorious zombie mayhem! We’re thrilled to report that The Return of the Living Dead Universe: Trash’s Revenge has officially begun filming in Los Angeles, California! To celebrate, new behind-the-scenes images have been released.

This new installment hits the scene just as the original 1985 cult classic celebrates its 40th anniversary. Dragon Studios is bringing back many of the “ROTLD” originals for this exciting new movie.

What’s the Story?

This time, the action centers on a punk rocker who, after rising from the dead, is hungry for fame and flesh! She sets her sights on Hollywood, manipulating a filmmaker into documenting her gruesome “comeback.” As her notoriety and body count grow, a bloody showdown will decide her ultimate fate. Get ready for a wild ride that promises to capture the spirit of the original!

First Look at the Cast!

We’ve got a special first look at the production, featuring some of the cast bringing this undead tale to life: Gia Rose, Dave Knee, Clifton Taylor, and Juan Lords. Let’s not forget Linnea Quigley, who played the iconic character of Trash in Return of the Living Dead.

Dave Knee humorously shared, “If someone told me as a teenager I would be in the 40th anniversary eating spider and chucks brains after turning into a zombie I’d figure they were nuts. The only thing I was worried about were my buddies parents coming in the room during Linnea Quigley’s dance on the gravestones scene.”

Gia Rose added, “I love horror and I love to act. When I heard this movie was happening, I knew I had to be a part of it. I had the best time!”

Juan Lords expressed his enthusiasm: “Becoming a zombie for a horror film set in the ‘Return of the Living Dead’ universe was an unforgettable experience—covered in prosthetics and fake blood, surrounded by passionate actors and a welcoming crew. It was an honor to be part of the legacy of one of the best ’80s horror films ever made.

And Clifton Taylor summed it up for many fans: “As a lifelong fan, being involved in Trash’s Revenge is a childhood dream come true.”

Adding to the talent behind the scenes, David Mitch Parks is on board as Second Unit Director. He’s known for his work on Static Codes, When It Rains in L.A., and Blackout, so expect some killer action sequences.

Get ready to party, because The Return of the Living Dead Universe: Trash’s Revenge is coming, and it sounds like it will be a brain-eating blast!
