Jessica Biel’s Dive into True Crime
Executive producer and narrator Jessica Biel expressed her long-standing fascination with the genre:
“I have always been fascinated by the complexities behind true crime – what drives a person to commit such a heinous act, the dogged investigators that work diligently to solve the cases, and of course, the devastating impact on the loved ones left behind.”
She also shared her excitement about this new venture: “While I have performed in several scripted crime series, FATAL DESTINATION marks my first foray into executive producing unscripted true crime content, so partnering with ID, the leader in the genre, has been a dream come true in the process of exposing real-life nightmares.”
Biel is best known for her roles in films such as The Illusionist, Total Recall (2012), and 2003’s The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, as well as Blade: Trinity. Biel appeared in the series “Sinners” and “The Better Sister.” But she is not new to true crime, having starred in the Hulu series “Candy.”
