A chilling new horror film, Eye for an Eye, will have you thinking twice before you go to sleep! The terrifying tale that introduces a brand new nightmare creature – Mr. Sandman!
The film is directed by Colin Tilley, known for his impactful music video work and increasingly diverse film projects. Elisa Victoria and Michael Tully pen the spine-tingling screenplay.
What’s It About?
The film centers on Anna (Whitney Peak of “Gossip Girl, and” Hocus Pocus 2), a young woman reeling from the sudden and devastating death of her parents. In her grief, she makes a drastic move, relocating from the bustling streets of New York to a quiet, small town in Florida to live with a grandmother (S. Epatha Merkerson of “Chicago Med”) she’s never even met.
However, Isolated and entirely out of her element, Anna tries to find her footing and eventually falls in with a couple of local teens. But her attempt at a fresh start takes a horrifying turn when she becomes a bystander to an unforgivable act of violence. This act irrevocably ensnares her in the clutches of Mr. Sandman – a twisted soul hellbent on revenge for those mistreated. And, in a truly gruesome fashion, the creature takes the eyes of its victims.
Adding to the fantastic cast are Finn Bennett of “True Detective: Night Country” and Golda Rosheuvel (“Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story,” DUNE), promising even more compelling performances within this terrifying narrative.
