A Town in Chaos
When the dead start walking and acting… normal, it throws the small town into utter chaos and confusion. At the center of it all is Dana Cypress (Melanie Scrofano). She’s a local police officer and single mother who unexpectedly finds herself thrust into a perplexing murder mystery. However, now, she faces the impossible task of making sense of this unprecedented situation – and perhaps, the secrets the revived might still hold. Everyone, alive or undead, is a suspect.
Impressive Talent Behind and In Front of the Camera
“Revival” is based on the critically acclaimed and best-selling Image Comics series of the same name, created by Tim Seeley and Mike Norton. It has a rich and compelling narrative. It has a strong foundation in character development and intricate world-building.
Leading the cast is Melanie Scrofano. She’s no stranger to action and horror after her role as gunslinger Wynonna Earp in the long-running series. Having starred in movies like Ready or Not, she brings a strong horror pedigree to her new role as Officer Dana Cypress. She’s joined by Romy Weltman, David James Elliott, and Andy McQueen. A talented roster of recurring guest stars adds intrigue to the series, including Steven Ogg, Phil Brooks (also known as CM Punk), Gia Sandhu, Katherine King So, Maia Jae, Nathan Dales, Mark Little, Glen Gould, Lara Jean Chorostecki, and Conrad Coates.
Bringing the series to the screen are Aaron B. Koontz and Luke Boyce, who serve as showrunners and executive producers.
