Alright, if you’re looking for something totally wild and wonderfully weird this summer, you’re in luck! The twisted seasonal satire Gnome Sick: 7 Slays Til Mithras is available NOW to rent or buy on Amazon and Fandango At Home! But here’s the best news: it’s hitting Tubi for FREE TODAY, July 1st! Yes, you read that right, July 1st is here, and so is this bonkers flick!

Mike L. Taylor wrote and directed this insanity. “We wanted to make something nostalgic and suburban, but also absurd and unhinged – kind of a ‘What if Midsommar was a Lifetime Holiday Film?'” We’re sold!

Christmas, California, and Pure Chaos!

Imagine this: Pete Grunderson heads back to his hometown, aptly named Christmas, California, only to find his family has vanished! Did they fall victim to the multi-generational Santa Slasher? Or did that slasher turn their corpses into murderous, mind-controlled, evil gnomes?! And what about his high school sweetheart, Anne – is she caught up in some strange Craft Faire Cult? Oh, and get this: gold bones, gooey gore, FBI agents, and ancient pagan rites all somehow tie into it. Every bizarre, blood-splattered road leads Pete to the horrifying (and hilarious) truth: he’s… Gnome Sick!

The Cast & Creative Carnage

Starring Bryan Forrest (Never Hike Alone, Video Game High School) as Pete and Lennon Hobson (Bloody Bridget, Cannibal the Musical) as Anne, the film also features Rachel Rios, Ian Reier Michaels, and Pyar Anderson (United, Exposé) in supporting roles.

Produced by Loren Semmens (The Woman, Dead Season) and Bryan Forrest, “Gnome Sick” is a wild blend of old-school practical gore, surprisingly creepy 3D animated gnomes, and that cozy Rankin-Bass-style holiday nostalgia. It’s all wrapped up with a loving nod to slashers, cult horror, and Christmas classics that have gone completely off the rails.

So, whether you’re celebrating Christmas in July (or Mithras for pagans), Gnome Sick: 7 Slays Til Mithras is here to deck your halls with blood, laughs, evil gnomes, and Santa Slasher carnage.
