Get ready for a chilling debut! Sunrise Films and Vertigo Releasing have announced the upcoming multi-territory release of Samuel Clemens’ feature film debut, The Drowned. Woven with references to Greek mythology, the film promises to keep you guessing!
A Heist Gone Wrong, A Sinister Presence Below
The Drowned follows a desperate scenario: three thieves, fresh off stealing a priceless painting, arrive at a secluded safe house by the sea. However, their relief quickly turns to dread as they discover their fourth accomplice is missing. Did one of them betray their partner? Or is a more sinister presence lurking in the deep waters below, responsible for her disappearance?
A Strong Cast and Crew
The film stars Alan Calton (Mission: Impossible The Final Reckoning), Lara Lemon (War Of The Worlds: The Attack), and Lily Catalifo (Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny). Dominic Vulliamy (BBC One’s Rules Of The Game), Corrinne Wicks, and Michelangelo Fortuzzi join them. Sandrine Salyères also appears.
The Drowned was produced by Agam Jain, George Clemens, and Fernando Ruiz for Take The Shot Films, and James Kermack and Julien Loeffler for Featuristic Films. Raven Banner Entertainment is handling worldwide sales.
