Comedian Matt Rife has dropped a bombshell on his Facebook and Instagram: he’s officially bought the infamous Ed and Lorraine Warren home and Occult Museum in Monroe, Connecticut.

If you’re scratching your head, Ed and Lorraine Warren were the real-life paranormal investigators who inspired The Conjuring movie franchise. Their house and museum are filled with a wide range of spooky, haunted, and possessed artifacts they have collected on their cases.
A Team Effort
Rife didn’t go in alone. He teamed up with YouTuber Elton Castee, and both of them have committed to being the legal guardians of the house and its haunted collection for at least the next five years. That includes the super creepy Annabelle doll!
Speaking of Annabelle, she just got back home after being on the “Devils on the Run Tour.” Get this: a paranormal investigator who was with the doll on tour died unexpectedly last month. Coincidence? You decide.
A Fan
Rife, a big fan of The Conjuring films, plans to open a museum and house for overnight stays and tours sometime soon. And for all you Conjuring fanatics, The Conjuring: Last Rites is hitting theaters on September 5th. It’s supposed to be the final film for the original franchise, which, honestly, might be for the best. With Rife’s comedy background, I’d hate to see the next movie turn into a horror-comedy. No thanks! But don’t fret; this isn’t the end of The Conjuring universe—more films are on the way.
This is not Rife’s first experience with the paranormal. He’s done many investigations. In fact, he was a guest on the “Ghost Adventures” series earlier this year.
Don’t be surprised if Rife and Castee turn the purchase into a new series or use it to boost their following with “reports” of paranormal and supernatural activity.
