Jurassic World: Rebirth, the latest installment in the iconic dinosaur franchise, is stampeding onto digital platforms and Video On Demand this month after devouring a massive $727.39 million at the box office.

A Powerhouse Cast

Leading the charge are Scarlett Johansson, fan-favorite Jonathan Bailey, and two-time Oscar winner Mahershala Ali. Talk about a dream team to face down prehistoric nightmares! The cast also includes Luna Blaise, David Iacono, and Audrina Miranda, who play members of Reuben’s family. Philippa Velge and Ed Skrein round out the cast.

The Story

The story of Rebirth picks up years after the earth-shattering events of Jurassic World: Dominion. Johansson stars as Zora Bennett, a highly skilled covert operative on a top-secret mission to extract crucial dino DNA. But, as we’ve come to expect in Jurassic movies, things take a wild turn.  Her team stumbles upon a family whose boat is brutally attacked by aquatic dinosaurs. Stranded on an island teeming with both familiar and brand-new species of dinosaurs, the group must now uncover a sinister, decades-old secret and find a way to escape.

Behind the camera, Gareth Edwards, the director who brought us Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, is at the helm. Adding to the film’s pedigree is the screenplay by David Koepp. Koepp famously penned the script for the original Jurassic Park! That’s a serious nod to the franchise’s roots, promising a blend of fresh thrills and classic Jurassic magic.

Put on your favorite jammies, pop some popcorn, and get ready for Jurassic World: Rebirth, coming to digital and VOD on August 5, 2025.
