“Twisted Metal” Gets Explosive In the Sneak Peek at Episodes 206 & 207

Get ready to rev your engines, the high-octane action of “Twisted Metal is continuing to deliver pure, brutal mayhem in its second season. New episodes are dropping every week, with jaw-dropping twists, surprising alliances, and a whole lot of car-crushing carnage.

We’re about to dive into two new episodes. And judging by the sneak peek at episodes 206 and 207, things are getting even more complicated and explosive for our favorite characters.

 

New Alliances and Old Enemies in Episodes 6 & 7

 

The next two episodes drop on Thursday, August 14, and the tournament is about to get even more personal. In Episode 6, “MKAW1SH,” John (Anthony Mackie) and Quiet (Stephanie Beatriz) are facing increasingly dire circumstances. As a result, they’ll be forced to form some unexpected alliances while also fueling new rivalries. Meanwhile, fans of the maniacal clown Sweet Tooth are in for a treat. The maniac crosses paths with a dangerous and familiar foe.  

The chaos continues in Episode 7, “H1TNRVN,” where John and Quiet find themselves dealing with a series of unimaginable setbacks on what is the worst day of their lives. Their resolve is pushed to the breaking point, which can only mean more explosive confrontations are on the horizon. 

 

The Cast and Crew Fuel the Fire

 

The cast continues to drive the action. Anthony Mackie returns as the motor-mouthed John Doe, and Stephanie Beatriz as the formidable Quiet. Will Arnett is back to voice Sweet Tooth, whose physical presence is brought to life by Joe Seanoa. Anthony Carrigan plays the enigmatic Calypso.

This season also features guest stars, Mike Mitchell, Patty Guggenheim, and Saylor Bell Curda. Tiana Okoye, Richard De Klerk, Michael James Shaw, and Lisa Gilroy also make an appearance.

The madness is all orchestrated by showrunner Michael Jonathan Smith. Directors Phil Sgriccia, Bill Benz, Iain MacDonald, and Bertie Ellwood bring this post-apocalyptic world to life.
