It’s about to be one hell of a bad night! Director Matt Stuertz is unleashing a new supernatural horror film, Human, and it’s set to make its World Premiere at FrightFest on August 22nd. Prepare yourselves for a ride into the heart of a blood-soaked nightmare.
A Night of Violence
What starts as a night of quiet solitude for Dani Ferris, a woman far from home and bone-tired, quickly descends into a cataclysmic nightmare. All she wanted was a little digital distraction before bed. Instead, she gets a front-row seat to an unfiltered, raw descent into chaos that she is not remotely prepared for.
Get ready for a gruesome ballet of body parts, body fluids, and whatever else gets left behind. The line between love and hate, life and death, is obliterated in a storm of violence, and the true nature of things—something a hell of a lot more super than natural—is violently revealed. It’s a truly unholy mess, and Dani will never forget a single, brutal second of it. And neither will the thing hunting her.
The Team Behind the Madness
Written and directed by Matt Stuertz (Tonight She Comes, RWD), this balls-to-the-wall flick stars Jackie Kelly (Tennessee Gothic, Hag), Brock Russell (Tonight She Comes), Jeffrey Decker, and Cecily Dowd. David Christopher Pitt does double duty as both cinematographer and special effects master. Human features an original score by Joseph Holiday of Snakes of Russia.
