Get ready to bring the terror home! RLJE Films and Shudder are set to release the acclaimed horror film, Clown in a Cornfield, on a brand-new 4K UHD Steelbook!

A Wildly Successful Slasher

Clown in a Cornfield, directed by Eli Craig (the genius behind Tucker and Dale vs. Evil), and based on the Bram Stoker Award-winning novel by Adam Cesare, is a certified sensation. The film premiered to rave reviews at SXSW and is officially “Certified Fresh” on Rotten Tomatoes. It also received praise in my spoiler-free review. Its killer opening weekend smashed previous records for IFC Entertainment Group, proving that audiences are seriously digging this fright-filled flick.

Katie Douglas (Ginny & Georgia), Carson MacCormac (Shazam!), Aaron Abrams, Will Sasso, and Kevin Durand (Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes) star.

A Terrifying Premise and Exclusive Features

The story introduces us to Quinn (Katie Douglas) and her father (Aaron Abrams), who move to the seemingly quiet town of Kettle Springs for a fresh start. However, under the surface, the town is far from peaceful. Tensions are boiling over. And a sinister, grinning figure known as Frendo the clown emerges from the cornfields. It has a terrifying mission: to “cleanse” the town of its problems, one bloody victim at a time.

The new Steelbook is a must-have for collectors! It features killer bonus content like a filmmaker commentary and limited-edition magnets featuring a “Pop Out” Frendo and his weapons.

It’s time to welcome Frendo into your home on September 9, 2025. For an in-depth view of the film, check out our interview with director Eli Craig
