Looking for something chilling to watch? There’s a new supernatural horror film headed your way, Traumatika, and it’s a fresh take on the possession genre. The film, directed by Pierre Tsigaridis and co-written by Maxime Rancon, sees a boy’s night terrors become reality when his mother begins showing signs of demonic possession. What he’s about to experience will haunt him for the rest of his life and claim countless lives across generations.

The film is led by Rebekah Kennedy (Two Witches), who gave a terrifying portrayal of a woman possessed and struggling with her demons. The film sees Kennedy reunite with the filmmakers who also directed Two Witches.

I recently had the pleasure of talking with the actress and asking her a few questions. Kennedy took us inside the film, Traumatika, discussing her approach to playing such a dark role and her process, as well as her makeup, mindset, and more. Watch our interview below to get an inside look at this unnerving film.

Witness Traumatika and see Kennedy in action when the film premieres in theaters on September 12, 2025.
