Sick of the same old horror movies? Get ready for something fresh and spooky. Dust Bunny is the feature directorial debut from visionary creator Bryan Fuller (Hannibal, Pushing Daisies). It’s a wickedly inventive blend of childhood fears, adult terror, a ton of action, and a touch of fantasy.

The story centers on a 10-year-old girl named Aurora who is convinced a monster under her bed ate her entire family. She gets an unlikely ally in her neighbor, a hitman played by the always incredible Mads Mikkelsen, who starred in Fuller’s “Hannibal.”

Aurora hires the hitman to take care of her monster problem. He, however, suspects her family might have been caught in the crossfire of an assassination attempt on his own life. Driven by guilt, he agrees to help, and they set off on a path to confront both real-life monsters and the ones hiding in the shadows.

An All-Star Cast

The talent in this movie is off the charts. Joining Mikkelsen is David Dastmalchian, known for his stellar roles in Late Night with the Devil and The Boogeyman. And get this: the legendary Sigourney Weaver—yes, Ellen Ripley herself—is also in the cast! Rounding out this fantastic group is Rebecca Henderson (Russian Doll, “Westworld”).

Fuller is co-producing Dust Bunny with Entertainment One and Thunder Road. Given Fuller’s incredible track record with shows like “Hannibal” and “American Gods,” we know we’re in for a wild ride.
