Alright, fellow “Supe” fans, get ready! “Gen V” proved in its first season that it’s way more than just a spin-off of “The Boys.“It’s a killer show with its own brutal, twisted story. And it’s back for its second season!
Season 1 left us with a massive cliffhanger. Homelander is now running the show from the White House, and Godolkin University is a much scarier place. A lot of the students are starting to believe that normal humans are beneath them—a message the new Dean seems to be pushing in what looks suspiciously like a school-sanctioned fight club. Marie and her friends are now considered enemies by the university. And have one hell of a fight ahead of them.
The Godolkin campus is getting a new leader! Hamish Linklater, who you might know from his fantastic work in shows like “Midnight Mass,” is joining the cast as the new Dean, Cipher. He’s stepping in to fill the very bloody void left by Dean Shetty.
Most of the cast is back, including Jaz Sinclair, Lizzie Broadway, Maddie Phillips, and Asa Germann. Sadly, the series will be without actor Chance Perdomo, who tragically passed away in a motorcycle accident earlier this year before production began. His character will not be recast.
Season 2 Release Schedule:
Just like with the first season, they’re not giving us everything at once. We’ll get three episodes on the premiere date, with one new episode dropping each week after that.
