Calling all horror hounds and music psychos! Get ready to raise a glass to the perfect collaboration you never knew you needed. Horror titans Ice Nine Kills and horror-centric company Macabre Spirits have teamed up. They have created a killer new whiskey: Horrorwood Reserve.
This isn’t just a drink; it’s a full-on tribute to the horror genre. The project brings together INK’s frontman Spencer Charnas and Macabre Spirits co-founders Matthew Lillard (Scream, Five Nights at Freddy’s) and Justin Ware.
The collaboration is a true fusion of horror and metal. Not only will you get to enjoy a new whiskey. Matthew Lillard is also joining the INK cinematic universe with an appearance in the band’s latest music video, set to debut in October.
“Horrorwood Reserve is the liquid soundtrack to your favorite slasher flick,” says Charnas. “It tastes like suspense, danger, and the satisfaction of surviving until the credits roll.”
So what’s in the bottle? The whiskey is made from a special heirloom grain called Bloody Butcher corn, which gives it a beautiful, deep crimson color. It’s aged for five years and has a complex flavor profile with notes of cinnamon, leather, and spice. Sounds like the perfect drink for a scary movie night!
Horrorwood Reserve is available in two excellent collectible editions:
- Silver Scream Edition: Priced at $84.99, this set includes the killer bottle and celebrity cocktail recipe cards.
- Golden Age Edition: For $129.99, you get a solid brass skull stopper designed by INK, all 10 collectible recipe cards, and a special thank you letter from Spencer Charnas himself.
