Ready for a new kind of terror? Luke Sparke, the director behind the “Occupation” series and the recent Primitive War, is back with a nail-biting horror film, Scurry, coming to digital platforms and select theaters this October.
Scurry, a single-take film that premiered to a strong reception at the 2024 Sydney Film Festival. The film follows two strangers. They find themselves trapped, wounded, and disoriented in an underground tunnel after an attack devastates their city. However, collapsing passageways aren’t their only problem. There is a relentless swarm of genetically altered spiders hunting them in the darkness.
Sparke describes Scurry as a “love letter to the great monster movies of the past.” He adds that it’s designed to be a wild, pulse-pounding ride that sticks with you long after the credits roll.
Starring Jamie Costa and Emalia, Scurry promises to deliver a truly terrifying experience. You can see it in select theaters, or you can rent or buy it on Digital HD platforms like Apple TV and Prime Video starting October 3.
