A terrifying new film is on the way just in time for spooky season. The Salem Chronicles, a new horror-thriller, is set to debut on VOD and Digital just in time for Halloween.
The movie, directed and written by Thomas J. Churchill, explores the idea that some family legacies are more of a curse than a blessing. The story centers on a young detective. He must return to his childhood home in Salem, Massachusetts, to settle his mother’s estate. But in this notoriously haunted town, the past is never truly dead. He discovers a wicked truth about his own bloodline, and the vengeful witches and sorcery of centuries ago are suddenly very much alive.
As the terror from his family’s evil past resurfaces, both the detective and his wife are thrust into a horrific nightmare. They soon realize that they can’t escape what’s waiting for them in a house full of unimaginable horror.
This film, rated R for “strong violence, some gore, and suicide,” is not for the faint of heart. The Salem Chronicles stars Gina Vitori and Nathan Kehn and promises to be a chilling new take on one of America’s most famous haunted towns.
