Freestyle Digital Media is to unleash the horror adventure-comedy Minore, which will be available to rent and own on all North American digital platforms this September.

The film, directed by Konstantinos Koutsoliotas, is a wild, spine-chilling tale. Minore is set against the backdrop of a vibrant Greek seaside tavern. However, a summer filled with revelry is shattered when grotesque creatures begin to rise from the depths of the sea.

The story follows a young sailor who arrives in search of his long-absent father. As he becomes acquainted with a group of eccentric tavern musicians, things take a dark turn. The city becomes plagued by monsters that attack people and lure others into the sea through unsettling dreams. The escalating chaos—from a church congregation turning into gooey corpses to a dramatic attack on the tavern itself—forces a military blockade of the streets.

To fight back against the Lovecraftian menace, the sailor and the musicians must band together with a bizarre group of local heroes: a bodybuilder, a tough-as-nails granny, local thugs, and even an undead priest. Their desperate plan? To find the right song that can defeat the monsters in an ultimate showdown at the local church.

Koutsoliotas, who co-wrote the script with Elizabeth E. Schuch, describes Minore as a “delirious cocktail of Lovecraftian monsters, splatter, bouzouki, awkward dinners, and unexpected song and dance.” Minore a large ensemble cast. It includes Davide Tucci and Daphne Alexander. And the film promises to be a hilarious, heartfelt, and horrifying ride when it hits digital platforms and DVD on September 30th.
