Ahead of its theatrical debut later this month, new character missing posters have arrived for the chilling horror film, Shelby Oaks, and they are brutal.
The film follows a woman whose desperate search for her missing sister spirals into a dangerous obsession. After the police do nothing, she sets out on a mission to find her. However, she must confront a horrifying possibility: that the imaginary demon from their childhood may have been all too real.
Shelby Oaks marks the debut feature from writer/director Chris Stuckmann, who boldly announces his arrival as a compelling new voice in genre cinema. Critics are already highlighting his visual storytelling and razor-sharp tension.
The film stars a talented cast including Camille Sullivan, Brendan Sexton III, and Michael Beach.
What makes Shelby Oaks stand out is its grassroots origin: it is one of the most-funded horror film projects in Kickstarter history, drawing support from over 4,500 dedicated backers. The project is executive-produced by acclaimed horror filmmaker Mike Flanagan (Doctor Sleep, Midnight Mass).
This is the must-see horror event of the spooky season. Be sure to watch Shelby Oaks when it arrives in US theaters on October 24 and in UK and Irish cinemas on October 29.
