Like all good things, the availability of some streaming movies has to come to an end. That’s the case for the films on this list that are leaving Tubi’s free streaming services just after Halloween. So, watch them while you can.
The Frighteners
The Frighteners is from director Peter Jackson (The Lord of the Rings). Michael J. Fox stars as a man who discovers he can communicate with the dead after a terrible car accident, and he uses that gift to con people. However, when a demonic spirit appears, he may be the only one who can stop it from killing the living and the dead.
30 Days of Night
This film, arguably one of the best vampire movies ever made, is from director David Spade. After an Alaskan town is plunged into darkness for a month, it is attacked by a bloodthirsty gang of vampires. Josh Hartnett stars as Sheriff Oleson, while Danny Huston leads the brutal vampire clan.
30 Days of Night: Dark Days
While this sequel is not as good as the original, it’s still a movie you should check out. After surviving the incidents in Barrow, Alaska, Stella Oleson relocates to Los Angeles, where she deliberately draws the attention of the local vampire population to avenge the death of her husband.
The Bone Collector
If you are into tales of serial killers, this one is for you. It’s a fantastic edge-of-your-seat movie with a brilliant cast, including Denzel Washington, Angelina Jolie, Queen Latifia, and Michael Rooker. The story centers on a quadriplegic ex-homicide detective (Washington) and his partner (Jolie) on a mission to try to track down a serial killer who is terrorizing New York City.
Urban Legend
This 1998 horror film follows a college student who suspects that a series of bizarre deaths is connected to certain urban legends.
The cast reads like a who’s who list of mega stars at the time. It includes Jared Leto, Alicia Witt, Rebecca Gayheart, Michael Rosenbaum, Loretta Devine, Joshua Jackson, and Julian Richings. And last but definitely not least, Robert Englund as Professor Wexler.
