The sequel series to the cult-favorite Creep films, “The Creep Tapes,” returns for its second season this November on Shudder and AMC+, with new episodes dropping every Friday.
Original Creep creators Mark Duplass and Patrick Brice are back, co-writing all six new episodes. Duplass reprises his role as the world’s most dangerous and socially inept serial killer, with Brice returning to direct the found-footage nightmare. This team continues to expose a vault of secret videotapes that show the killer’s escalatingly odd behavior and the terrible realizations of his victims.
The newly released trailer promises some truly unhinged content this season. The killer meets his match when a copycat killer (played by the excellent David Dastmalchian) shows up. One episode features a man chained to another victim, forced to solve bizarre puzzles (Robert Longstreet stars). The season even delivers a dose of Christmas horror when an emergency therapy session goes off the rails on Christmas Eve (Timm Sharp stars). But that’s not all, another episode sees Katie Aselton in a family visit that quickly goes haywire.
Duplass and Brice executive produce alongside Mel Eslyn, Jay Duplass, and Chris Donlon, ensuring the series keeps its unsettling, improvisational style.
The best part? The terror isn’t stopping soon! Netflix has already renewed “The Creep Tapes” for a third season (due out in 2026). What’s more, Duplass and Brice remain committed to eventually finishing the original movie trilogy with Creep 3.
Tune in for the season 2 premiere of “The Creep Tapes” on November 14.
