From the acclaimed creative team responsible for this year’s gothic horror, The Baby in the Basket, comes their latest venture: the taut, Hitchcock-inspired suspense thriller, Death Among the Pines. This film promises a gripping exploration of paranoia, trust, and the deadly secrets hidden in plain sight.

The film plunges into a night of atmospheric dread. Angela (Nicolette McKeown) lives in quiet isolation in her remote country cottage. The peace is shattered one night by a violent, heavy rainstorm. A knock on the door reveals a stranded stranger (Nathan Shepka) claiming his car has broken down nearby. Warily, Angela grants him shelter from the elements.

However, the uneasy calm is quickly shattered. When a police officer (Stephen Kerr) arrives to lead a focused manhunt for an escaped criminal. Angela begins to piece together the situation. She realizes that her guest might be the very person the police are seeking. But as suspicion mounts, the true question becomes: Is this a straightforward manhunt, or is there a far more sinister game afoot?

Death Among the Pines features a compelling ensemble cast led by Nicolette McKeown (known for Mercy Falls and Damaged), Nathan Shepka (Dead Before They Wake), Stephen Kerr (The Defender), and Olly Bassi (Dick Dynamite; 1944).

The film’s sharp and suspenseful screenplay was penned by the celebrated, award-winning writer Tom Jolliffe (Renegades, Cinderella’s Revenge). The production is helmed by Gary Collinson, ensuring the stylistic consistency and unsettling atmosphere fans loved in The Baby in the Basket.

The film boasts a high-profile executive production team, including Emmy-winner Kira Reed, Nick Redmond, and Sanatan Kadakia of Scrap.

Don’t miss out on this atmospheric new addition to the suspense genre. Death Among the Pines is now available to stream on Amazon.
