The film plunges into a night of atmospheric dread. Angela (Nicolette McKeown) lives in quiet isolation in her remote country cottage. The peace is shattered one night by a violent, heavy rainstorm. A knock on the door reveals a stranded stranger (Nathan Shepka) claiming his car has broken down nearby. Warily, Angela grants him shelter from the elements.
However, the uneasy calm is quickly shattered. When a police officer (Stephen Kerr) arrives to lead a focused manhunt for an escaped criminal. Angela begins to piece together the situation. She realizes that her guest might be the very person the police are seeking.
